How to access the admin backstage of mining machines?

Users need to use a personal computer to log in the backstage of the mining machines through a browser before they can perform mining settings and query the running status of the mining machines.

Only by logging in the backstage of the mining machines can mining be carried out normally, but more newcomers often do not know how to log in. The so-called mining machine backstage is a page to view the working status of the mining machines. Of course, this knowledge is not necessary to learn if miners choose to work in mining farms.

ASIC mining machine is a highly customized mining device, whose body is only equipped with function buttons, generally without interactive interface. Users need to use a personal computer to log in the backstage of the mining machines through a browser before they can perform mining settings and query the running status of the mining machines.

Before accessing to the backstage of ASIC mining machine, please find the IP information of ASIC mining machine. In general, ASIC mining machine manufacturer officially provide tools for quick addressing of mining machines, such as Bitmain mining machine IP address tool, WhatsMiner mining machine batch management software, etc., and miners can follow the guidance provided by the mining machine official instructions, to find the mining machine IP through these tools.

After finding the mining machine IP, open the browser on the computer of the same LAN, enter the obtained mining machine IP in the address bar, then open the corresponding webpage, enter the mining machine account password (please consult the mining machine manufacturer to obtain the default account and password for logging in to the mining machine admin backstage), and then access the mining machine admin backstage.

If you know the IP address of the mining machine but cannot access or enter the backstage of the mining machine, troubleshoot the fault as follows:

 ·Incorrect IP Address

That is, the binding static address of the mining machine does not belong to the rack network (this fault mostly occurs when the mining farm is moved and the mining machine you purchased is second-hand).

Solution: Use the Reset button to restore the factory default settings and regain the IP address on the network segment. After obtaining the IP address with the IP Report tool, log in the backstage interface of the mining machine through a browser.

Method of using the Reset button to restore the factory default settings: After powering off and reboot for 2min, long press "Reset" button for 5s, then release it, the mining machine will be restored the factory default settings and automatically reboot within 4min (there is no need to power off the mining machine).

·Conflicting MAC Address

Possible cause: The MAC addresses of the two mining machines are the same, leading to the same IP addresses of the two mining machines, and both mining machines will abnormally operate in turn.

Solution: Try to restore the mining machines with conflicting MAC addresses to factory default settings or upgrade them to the latest firmware version. S9i machines can be upgraded to fix the firmware version fix_mac.tar.gz with duplicate MAC addresses.

·Conflicting IP Address

The IP addresses of two mining machines conflict with each other, leading to abnormal logging in the backstage of the mining machines.

Solution: Configure the mining machine with static IP addresses to obtain IP addresses in DHCP mode. If you cannot log in to the backstage of the mining machine to perform configuration, restore the mining machine to factory default settings, and then the mining machine obtains a new IP address from the DHCP address pool. The mining machine obtains IP addresses in DHCP mode by default.
